April: A Busy Month For MMIX…

This spring, MMIX is continuing to grow in new directions.

It’s April–flowers are blooming, allergies and temperatures are high.  In the traditional spirit of spring, MMIX is continuing to grow and try new things with language and literature in the community.  This month, the members of MMIX will read at two venues, which are new to us.  We’d love to have you there:

◊ On Sunday, April 18th at 4 p.m., MMIX will read original work relating to childhood at MorYork Gallery in Highland Park, in conjunction with MMIX’s own Sylvia Sukop’s photo exhibition

◊ On Thursday, April 22nd at 9 p.m., MMIX will read risky and risque tales at Cafe Muse in Hollywood.  SEX, LIES AND LITERACY promises to be an evening of food, fun, drink and provocative language.
